As part of the 50 Fest community event in Hemel Hempstead we organised and led a spectacular parade through the town! This featured a fantastic array of colourful handmade puppets, led by community groups, residents and performers.
As part of the Yorkshire Integration Festival at The Piece Hall, we joined the internationally acclaimed 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee on a symbolic journey through Halifax town centre to the Piece Hall. This was to raise awareness of the experiences of refugees and celebrate the resilience of refugee communities. Her urgent message to the world is “Don’t forget about us”.
An exciting new event based around the amazing folk tales of Calderdale and the area’s industrial heritage!
We partnered with Hyndburn Leisure to deliver a series of community workshop which finished in the Accrington Spring Parade.
Colne Winter Bloom was an absolute joy, thank you so much to everyone involved!
Thanks Manchester, and well done to all involved in the Christmas Parade. It’s only the second year, and already it feels like a lovely tradition. Very silly, warm-hearted, loads of audience participation. Just how we like it.
Barnsley Bright Nights has been a huge success! We have been working with lots of different community groups for this illuminated parade and have been blown away by the talent and dedication.
Halifax is on the move! This year’s Christmas event changed from a static display to a more exciting and inclusive Christmas experience – a parade choreographed by of course us :)
For World Mental Health Day we set up outside Dewsbury Town Hall with our friends from CLEAR Community Links. There was a lovely bustle with walkabouts from Bear and Fox.
