After the sell out success of Ripples Lantern Trail last year, Handmade Parade returned to RSPB Old Moor, Barnsley, bringing two magical evenings of wildlife sculptures and puppets to this fabulous nature reserve. We lead family and community workshops to create lanterns for a magical event which again completely sold out!
This took place on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th October 2022.
Paths were lined with beautiful lanterns and artwork depicting all manner of flora and fauna. Crafting activities were available along with shadow puppetry and snuggling up round the campfires with a hot chocolate.
…The one on the left is my little boys. He loved making the toadstool lantern and the Lights trail. I’ve had to save the date for next year as he wants to do it again – such amazing value for families! As a family we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you
