We’re looking for volunteers to help support our work with communities. No previous board experience is necessary, we’re open to hearing from individuals with all sorts of experience. Our team is warm and friendly, with a shared passion for bringing people together in joyful artistic expression.

We’ll be especially delighted to find folk with business or financial backgrounds, so please share with anyone suitable.

Please help us to track down some lovely people to help support our work with communities. We’re open to hearing from individuals with all sorts of experience, but we’ll be especially delighted to find folk with business or financial backgrounds.

So let’s go, have a good think about anyone you know would be a perfect match for us. When the next parade happens, they’ll be right at the centre of making the magic happen. Trust us, it’s a fantastic feeling.

Did you explore THE CALDERDALE WAY with us yesterday? The 2025 Hebden Bridge Handmade Parade roamed through waters, woods and windswept hilltops, celebrating our lively and beautiful valley.

Wow. Today was absolutely glorious, thank you so much to everyone involved. So many participants, artists, volunteers, behind-the-scenes magicians. All joined by the BEST AUDIENCE EVER. Hebden Bridge, you never fail to delight us.

We’ll be back soon to share our photos and chat more about the day. In the meantime, this gorgeous shot by Ian Hodgson deserves a little love. It captures a workshop moment pre-parade, and no, you’re not losing the plot. This puppet didn’t actually make it out onto the streets, because the wind forecast was worrying. So let’s give her a wave now, can’t leave anyone out!

We’re putting our feet up now with a wine or two, but tomorrow we would love to wake up to some of your favourite bits and photos. If you’re feeling particularly joyful, please feel free to write a sentence or two that we can quote in a funding application. Cos we really, really, REALLY want to do this again❤️
