Got a little present for you. We know it’s a bit early, but we’re too excited to wait. If you’re into the whole delayed gratification thing, maybe close your eyes and come back on Christmas Day.

Right, drum roll please….

It’s BACK!!!! We got the funding, the whole shebang is ON! Hebden Bridge Summer Parade is officially happening! YAAAAAY!!! Thanks so much to @aceagrams and @calderdale for funding this, it’s going to be the BEST ONE EVER.

We’re stupidly excited, it’s been too long. Been missing our big crazy Hebden family, this is going to be properly lovely. There will be the usual open making workshops, where you’ll be able to create your dream costume from cardboard, paint and bits of tat we’ve found lying around. We’ll also have new big puppets, artist training, volunteer sessions, music, stiltwalking classes and loads more.

Get it in your diaries, book your travel if you’re one of our lovely far-away friends - SUNDAY 22nd JUNE, HEBDEN BRIDGE TOWN CENTRE.

Time to show you some of the lovely new artworks we’ve created recently.
First up, beautiful Paulo, the Polar Bear by @govi.asano. Isn’t he GORGEOUS?! He likes to pretend he’s super scary and could crush you with his giant paws, but he’s a total softy really.
Many thanks to whole team supporting Govi in this colossal effort. Fairly certain we’ll forget someone but definitely need to say thanks to Annette, Boo, Tegan and Suzanne. It’s freezing in our workshop, all that wet paper is NOT PLEASANT!
