We’ve been making Christmas stuff for months, so we’ve officially lost track of “normal” seasons. But it feels like we’re all in Christmas mode now, right?
We’ve certainly got Manchester in the mood. This week we’ve been running a series of community workshops, making props for the upcoming Manchester Christmas Parade (Sunday 7th December!).
Many thanks and very well done to the children at the Chinese Centre, MCR Jamaican Society, MCR SEND group, and @oddartsuk . Lovely working with you all!

It’s officially lantern season, so lots of lovely new makes coming your way. Did you know that we welcome commissions? So if you’re running an event and have a need for a very specific puppet, get in touch!

We’re rightly very proud of all our artists - check out this beautiful new colour-changing dragon made by @rowanclairetaylor and @govi.asano. Dreamy, isn’t he? Swipe for some fab photos of his first outing at @paisleyhalloweenfestival, he was mostly in green mode there ‘cos SPOOKY!

We do love a trip out. Especially Laura. One time we stayed in a Travel Lodge on an out-of-town retail park and she sent “holiday photos” home to her family cos she was so delighted to be there. Not even kidding. So you can imagine her near-explosive levels of joy on this adventure. Actual TRAMS! (Swipe for a pic of her happy little face😁)

Thanks very much to the lovely volunteers at the Crich Tramway Village. It’s their Tramlight event this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday - lots going on including an illuminated trail of our artwork.

Excellent lantern workshops with the volunteers and also pupils from Huckhall National CofE primary school. Well done all, the event will be brilliant!
